If you have a surplus military MEP generator and the ground rod kit is missing we have the solution. The Erico 635837 portable ground rod kit is the mil-spec original kit that is supplied to the military for their generator sets.

The Erico portable ground rod kit is compact and easy to use. By attaching the copper clad ground rods together as you drive them into the ground you can quickly assemble a ground rod in the field that is ready for use. Each of the three ground rod sections is 3' long creating a total of 9' of earth grounding. The 6' section of copper grounding cable included in the kit connects to the last rod with the supplied rod clamp. On the other end the pre-installed terminal lug on the grounding wire makes for a simple connection to the generators chassis.

Portable ground rod kits are most commonly used for grounding portable generators, trailers, vehicles, communications equipment. Military helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, civilian rescue, and law enforcement equipment also use portable ground rod kits.

All accessories are provided in the kit for assembly and this product is UL listed and approved.
