The Fleetguard LF3479 provides high quality filtration with everything that your LDT 465 multifuel engine needs to live a long life. The LF3479 provides 30 micron absolute filtration versus the 21 micron nominal filtration* of the other brands**. The Fleetguard LF3479 also features an anti-drain back valve for rapid start-up oil pressure. Keeping the filters full of oil cuts the wait time for oil pressure on start-up down to just a few seconds.

* A note on Nominal Micron Rating. Nominal ratings are a loose industry rating style used to make poor filters look better on paper. Nominal ratings are typically only 50% at the given contaminate micron size. Medium and light-duty truck oil filters typically have an absolute micron rating in the range of 25-30 microns. Saying that a filter has a 21 micron nominal (50%) rating gives no indication of the percentage of larger particles that are still getting past the filter. Fleetguard uses a 98.7% as an absolute rating. It's as close to 100% or "absolute" as one can realistically get with todays filter media.
